The Navy's Threat/Simulation Validation OfficeProvides Specialized Support for the U.S. Navy
This Navy Threat/Simulation Validation Web Site contains detailed information on the Navy's Threat/Simulation Validation Program. Our primary function is to create highly detailed Threat/Simulation Validation Reports for the Navy.
- All of our reports are in standard DoD format for tri-service Test & Evaluation (T&E) or training training use.
- These reports are used to support service threat representation accreditation, and for general use in Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operation Test and Evaluation (OT&E), and training applications.
We validate systems such as:
- Actual air defense and related threat weapons systems
- Single and multiple-emitter threat simulators
- Jammers
- Missile flyout models
Digital threat computer models- Command Control & Communications (C3)
- Electro Optic Infrared (EO IR) equipment
- Laser UV systems
- Super-Sonic Sea Skimming Targets
- Underwater shallow and deep water targets
- Replica Submarines
- Mine Shapes
- Mine Simulators
Our office determines the differences between Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) data and simulator/simulation performance data.
We also determine potential impacts to Navy DT&E, OT&E, and training customers.
